It may be Invasive but it sure is fragrant

Russian olive (Elaeagnus angustifolia) is just about finished blooming in the Sourlands.  In my area its fragrance was overpowering (in a good way).  There is a lot of it that grows in untended fields.

Signs of spring in the Sourland Mountain

Finally two days in a row above freezing.  I am finally getting the Maple Sap Buckets up - just 2 or 3 days late - so missed only a few gallons of sap.

Still another 30 trees to tap - tomorow.
